Accounting Manager/Financial Controller

We are looking for someone with qualified experience within accounting and project controlling. The candidate will be reporting to the CFO and will play an important role in the company’s financial department, as a financial controller in order to support business unit managers and also as an accountant in charge of:

  • Daily book-keeping   
  • Project accounting and controlling 
  • Deliver month-end and year-end closure 
  • Budget and forecasting 
  • Cash management and liquidity planning
  • Handling and reconciling of customer and a vendor invoices
  • Preparing and reporting VAT and social security returns
  • Group reporting
  • Communication and interaction with the group foreign subsidiaries
  • Miscellaneous analysis work
  • Preparing official annual reports
  • Interact with the company’s auditors

You will also work closely together with the HR manager. A company’s most valuable asset is its employees, and most HR-related questions and issues are often interconnected with finance. 

Candidate profile:

We are looking for someone with degree in economics or similar field with several years of experience in qualified accounting. You have an understanding and experience when it comes to project controlling, HR experience is a plus. You have the ability to look at the whole picture and identify how every piece is connected. You are analytical, precise and not afraid to be proactive. You will be successful in your work if you enjoy working with varied tasks and you are used to working efficiently with intense reporting periods. Past experience with our system Visma and/or or group reporting system, Cognos is an advantage. We are also looking for someone with experience when it comes to presenting results on a group level. Having worked with implementing new business modules is a plus.
