International Women’s Day
Diverse teams enhance innovation, creativity, and decision-making. When we refer to diverse teams, we mean not only gender and ethnicity but also a variety of perspectives and experiences. In honour of International Women’s Day, this story highlights women just beginning their journeys.
This week, I had the pleasure of hosting a remarkable group of future engineers from LTH. They shared insights into their initiative, Electra, which aligns perfectly with our mission at Femmegineering. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire young girls to explore the world of technology by showcasing strong role models in the industry and promoting representation.
Future engineers and leaders.
These talented students are currently pursuing studies in electronic design, and who knows—maybe they will end up working in our electronic design team, specializing in compact consumer and industrial products! Or perhaps they will, like so many other female engineers, transition into leadership roles.
At Sigma Connectivity, we recruit based on competence, resulting in a diverse management team with many strong female leaders. Over the years, we have accomplished incredible things for over 300 customers globally and successfully finalized projects with some of the biggest names in tech. What do we owe this success to? Innovation. So let’s go back to the first sentence of this story; Diverse teams enhance innovation, creativity, and decision-making.
For the remainder of the year, through our inclusive company culture and initiatives such as Femmegineering, we foster a sense of community and support one another.
Happy International Women’s Day.
