PREPARING FOR A MORE FOCUSED FUTURE

We are now getting ready for a brand-new structure for our Connectivity group. And with this new form, we nurture the possibility of growth for all the companies within the group. Each of our companies will now get to focus on their core business and core competence. Björn Lundqvist will continue as our group CEO and here at Sigma Connectivity, we welcome Jesper Larsson as our new CEO and My Janghed Askler as our new CFO.

With this new structure, we get a management team with a greater focus on our employees and our business. And we can refine our offer to customers, concentrate on our co-workers/experts; see to their needs so they can keep delivering top-shelf products and solutions. So we can brag about them as blatantly as we like.

“This is a great opportunity to build a stronger identity as a company, employer and as a brand. And since we are a unique and high-end tech-house with world-class experts, equipment, and culture we have a lot to build on, a lot to be proud of,” says Jesper Larsson.

Unlimited possibilities with boundless structure

As a part of the new changes, we are removing our current business units, which will bring our engineers and experts closer together. And by doing so, their individual skill can and will do good where it is most needed, not just within a specific business unit. We will learn more and share knowledge and experience freely, and across the company. This will make us even better and sharper in what we do and deliver to our clients.

We also get a better chance to plan and use our competence and rapidly fill the gaps when needed. But also bring in the ‘odd’ competence in a project to help think outside the box.

Basically, we become freer and more unlimited and without the business unit boundaries, we become one big team, ready for any size projects that come our way.

Sharpening our offer

We sometimes forget how unique we are, that we are a company with skills, expertise, and equipment which very few have. And those who do have it, don’t offer it for any other than their own products. So, we have a golden opportunity to remind ourselves, and the markets we want to work with, about our uniqueness. That we are experts in product development and how to, successfully, bring a vision or an idea to market.

We are specialised in developing complex technology and fitting it into really tight spaces. That is what we do all day. What we do is special but how we do it is even more unique. We appreciate one another and respect the expertise and knowledge that our colleagues bring to work every day. And the will to share is also something we are proud of here. Jesper has a clear ambition to keep building the professional yet ‘homey’ and familiar company culture and become an even better and more attractive workplace and employer. Nurturing drive and ambition

Since we are a company where new ideas and innovation are key, we make sure that ambition and drive are taken well care of, and that projects get the attention they need. But there is a big difference between saying yes to a request from a team that wants to explore a specific path in a project, to saying yes and following them with continued interest, checking in and offering support when needed.

“I believe that one of the most important parts of my job as a CEO is to make sure that our excellent teams have what they need to do what they do best, incredible designs and innovations,” says Jesper about his way to lead the company.

Many of the projects we work on we can’t talk about. The reasons for this are many, often it is the need to keep a revolutionary and innovative product a secret from the competition. But even though we can’t brag about what we do, we all know that our clients are happy about our deliveries. And they keep giving us their trust to develop and turn their ideas into products that will contribute to a better tomorrow.
