SIGMA CONNECTIVITY EXPANDS OFFER WITH MEDTECH SPIN-OFF, SIGMA CONNECTIVITY MEDTECH AB

Sigma Connectivity extends its offering further with the establishment of Sigma Connectivity MedTech AB, a subsidiary focusing on the growing number of MedTech customers in the region, as well as globally.

Sigma Connectivity has for the past 7 years supported several key customers with the development of new medical technology devices and has been part of their transformation towards digitalization and connectivity. A project in 2015, together with Coala Life, resulted in the launch of the business unit MedTech, which became an important part of the global tech house. The digital stethoscope with a unique combination of medical and technological performance allowing instant monitoring and analysis of heart activity became the first of many MedTech innovations within the Sigma Connectivity portfolio.

Sigma Connectivity now offers a large team of experts to MedTech partners around the globe. The team of around 70 senior experts consisting of mechanical, electronics, optoelectronics, audio, and antenna engineers as well as regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and project managers with cross-industry experience – this combination is what makes Sigma Connectivity MedTech AB unique.
